What to expect in a ‘Yoga for Those Affected by Cancer’ class
Classes are suitable for both long term cancer survivors and those currently in treatment (their carers are also welcome to attend). Previous yoga experience is not necessary and there is an emphasis on working at a pace that suits you.
A friendly supportive environment and small class size ensures that you get plenty of personal attention. You will be encouraged to reconnect to your body, restore balance, and ultimately strengthen your body and mind at a safe rate.
Sessions are typically 75 minutes long and explore movement, breath work and guided meditation. There is also the option for tea and chat at the end, or simply to take the time to enjoy the peace and quiet of the beautiful countryside around Well Bath.
The next course runs from the week commencing 11th September – w/c 16th October (6 weeks £50) If you are interested please contact Jo Kitts firstname.lastname@example.org or Facebook Jo Kitts Yoga. It is important that I am aware of your health history in advance so I will send you a questionnaire to fill in before you attend your first class. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions concerning these sessions.
